I have seen this video before I discovered the ANZLF and I immediately had started to use that method. It's really a great alternative if someone dislikes routers as I do. Although not that fast as a normal router (but faster than a jig saw or even scroll saw) Robbie's "drill press router" does a clean job (clean cut, clean workshop and not much noise). Thanks!

Hi all

I know this is an old thread but I would like to add that you can use this technique to route the saddle slot in a bridge. I made up a quick jig for the drill press so it was at the right angle and went slowly, not much at all in each pass. The 3/16 drill bit flexes a bit, so you need to push most of it into the chuck to stiffen it, but it works if you don't have a router, or don't want to do it by hand.
