SATA Spray Gun

Used the new Sata yesterday and applied some of the knowledge gleaned from Allens tutorial.

I must say I'm very impressed with the results.

I got a much better flow out with less runs than I had been achieving from the $75 Bunnings special.

Should mean less work level sanding and therefore less chance of a sand through.

It might be a bit hard to see but here's a pic of the neck of the Blackwood 12 string I'm building, before sanding.

I love the look of the neck. It's got a real Tassie Tiger look about it.

Sata guns are the best. I've been using an NR-95 and a Mini-Jet for about 15 years now, and all you have to do is replace the parts that wear out from time to time. Even when the thing is way past rebuild time, it sprays well. These are "buy once" items.
