Thanks, guys, appreciated much. I'll try to answer some questions here.
The bloodwood trim was suggested by BobC, the zootman and all the wood except the ebony came from Bob.
I did not make the tuner buttons myself. They were custom made by Bill Nichols. The tuners are Schallers.
Hesh, I do like the way the OM sits on my knee better than the dreads.
About the finish: The neck is nothing but tru-oil, I think I put 8 coats on it. The top has a seal coat of clear shellac then 6 coats of tru-oil. Lightly rubbed with 0000 wool every two coats, then hand rubbed out with medium then fine rubbing compounds. The B/S was filled with z-poxy (another first for me), sanded level, then two coats of garnet shellac to deepen the color of the oak some, then 6 coats of tru-oil applied and hand polished the same as the top.
