Handy Tool for many jobs

I bought this inexpensive diamond file at McJings in Sydney when I was there in January this year. It is a small coarse file that is about 150mm long and 10mm wide and has come in handy for many small fitting jobs recently....its like a bit of sandpaper on a stick except the piece of sandpaper will never wear out... One job I have found it good for is skipping around binding channels removing the fuzz from the top edge of the channel....many other uses for it I am sure...

yes John, I have been using them for the same purpose and still finding more uses.

I have just inlayed Pau abalone 3mm wide and the file was perfect for cleaning out the channel.

I got a couple of different sizes from the chinese ebayers for around $2 inc postage , I thought they would last 2minutes but they seem to be fine great price for a tight A$$ like me.

but yes a very useful tool.
