Re: Port Fairy Pics
Thanks Bob and nice work to you, Peter and Rod's drool worthy archies/semihollows. Everytime you post these pics I'm always impressed with Tim Kill's work, sometimes a little over the top but the craftsmanship is obvious for all to see.

I asked him whether he lay awake at night dreaming up weird stuff like this but he assured me it was just the drugs he took before going into the workshop.

Man, I am so jealous. I am up on the Central Coast of NSW, does anyone know if there is an event similar to this up this way? Sydney? Newcastle?

Re: Port Fairy Pics
Yep we had a good time at PFFF on the weekend although it was bloody hot in that huge tent. it was great to meet Bob and Dave Mainwaring and the rest of the instrument builders that took part in the exhibition, a very friendly bunch of people. I did take a few pics but i think that Bobs tell the story, thanks for the pics Bob. It was the first time i've been involved in anything like this, the festival is a bloody huge event and i thought it was run very well, the organisers have done an excellent job imho.
I did have quite a bit of interest in the instruments i exhibited, gave out plenty of info and contact details so that may generate some enquiry in the future! if i'm invited back in 2014 i wouldn't hesitate to accept.
Cheers
Rod.

Great work Guys
Looking at all the wonderful instruments on display, makes me realise how much of an amateur I really am.
