That's Burnham Military Camp....just south of my hometown of Christchurch.

There are many different sorts of hakas.....the one most are familiar with is the one the All Blacks do prior to destroying the Wallabies. However this haka is a bit tame compared to the performance you see in the above video. Alot of passion and heart felt feeling in this haka....

The guy on the right in the sniper's outfit is interesting...doesn't seem to want to have his face to the camera. He maybe SAS...

Now now Martin, there's no need to kick a nations team when they are so far down and bloody out

I had the pleasure of working with Jacinda (the female soldier killed in this trio of dead) a few years ago when she was training to be a medic. They do time in the emergency department at Christchurch hospital & work on the road with Ambo's, I was an Ambo volunteer & we shared time on the same truck for a short time. Nice 'gentle' woman & a dedicated medic so quite a fitting send off for her & her comrades.
Can't help feeling that the Haka has been a little 'over performed' at times, they seem to perform them at the drop of a hat for anything these days simply because they've become so recognised (thanks to the AB's  ), but in this instance the mana & feeling that goes with this particular Haka was quite appropriate.
"Jesus Loves You."
Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.
