If I was that way inclined, a person could do some serious stuff having the choice of several good quality solvents of extreme purity, ranging from a mild buzz to full on comatosed, I'm sure several of the chemists could whip up a batch of something mindbendingly 'special' alsokiwigeo wrote:And God knows what goes on in that Chemistry DepartmentNick wrote:Duuuuuude.

I can verify that NZ is a nation of pot heads. Living overseas...everytime you go back you notice things like this more than the locals would. Went to a high school reunion last year and met too many of my friends who were showing long term effects of smoking too much weed back in the 70s and 80s......some of them have become complete dead heads.Tod Gilding wrote:I want to know how the United nations came up with these figures![]()

Re: It's official
It's an 'unofficially' recognised form of currency on the west coast of the South Island Tod, the land is still very wild on that side of the island & the population is sparse so growing conditions are ideal, not too many roads or nosey people & plenty of bush to hide the crop. My ex brother in law lives over there & quite often spoke of aquiring something secondhand (cars, tools, you name it!) for 'green dollars', I wondered what he meant to begin with but he soon filled me in with a definition. Mind you, the west coasters also enjoy their beer in LARGE quantities!kiwigeo wrote:I can verify that NZ is a nation of pot heads. Agreed Steve, infact the traffic authorities & other 'interested' parties are pushing for a law change to expand the drink driving laws & make it a 'driving under the influence' law so as to include any other mind altering substances. They also have an ad campaign on at present which was an interesting experiment, they put hidden camera's in private taxis and got actors to play the stoned/buzzed out driver, they wouldn't hide the fact either. Out of about 4 couples that rode in the cabs only one objected and wanted the driver to stop.Kamusur wrote:I reckon some Aussies could hold their own as well but its sure nothing to be proud of.
