Classical Guitar Workshop Visit

Post by zendo » Tue Jul 19, 2011 9:43 am

I am heading south from Brisbane at the end of August. I would like to visit some Luthiers workshops anywhere in the south. I would be happy to hear from anyone who may like to show me around their workshop and yes, I am seeking tips on layout and tools. I am an amateur instrument maker with many interests in music, art and luthiery. Let me know. :git

I am at Caves Beach, on the coast, south of Newcastle, happy to have a visitor.
I have a classical and flamenco built last year (as well as various ukes and steel string devices)

Zen just a little further south down the road from Motown (Morriset) under 1 hours drive at Mangrove Mountain. You are welcome to drop in and make any sort of "how not to do it in a workshop" video.

I am figuring out how I can visit everyone... Brisbane to Newcastle (3 workshops), Bega, Melbourne and Adelaide. Closer to the time of leaving September 7th I will check out everyone's availability and contact.

What a terrific bunch we have here at the ANZLF...well done you blokes. This is a great example of what this particular forum is all about and why I'm proud to be a part of it. 8)

Cheers

Yeah spot on.
The strong sense of community at ANZLF is what this country needs. :D

I am looking forward to my trip down the coast to Melbourne then culminating with seeing Martin in Adelaide.
