Who is Online?

Here's a curious bit of geekiness for the mods to clarify. When browsing this afternoon I saw this at the botton of one of the boards:

The word 'Google' appears as a User, yet it is not hyperlinked ... wtf .

I have noticed that too. Not only Google though, I've seen Yahoo and another than I can't remember as well.

The other was Bing whoever Bing is.

Search Engine Crawlers or Robots.

They index the entire site so if anyone types "ukelele" (into Google, for instance) it will return results that point toward the relevant post on the ANZLF.

The also cache posts on the site which was how we recovered a lot of our lost data.

I can turn them on or off but I figure that we're here to help people who build instruments so that's how they find us.

I only have Google, Yahoo and Bing enabled (Bing is the Microsoft search engine)
