FOlk Festival Lap Slide Handout

Post by ozziebluesman » Mon Jun 22, 2009 9:42 am

Here is a copy of the handout that I presented at the Palm Creek Folk Festival. It has some history on the weissenborn guitar, some suggested tunings and a little discussion on the basics of playing lap slide. The weissenborn guitar has a wonderful history! I thought some of you may enjoy the read!

:cl :cl :cl Thanks for that Alan. Always interested in 'unusual' guitars and had often wondered about the Weissenborn, this explains much.

Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.
