Nut Slot Height-Borrowed approach.

I also saw the nut slotting aid in the Stumac catologue and as I needed a break from guitars I thought I would make my own.

I do use feeler gauges at times especially when I or the customer need to know a particular setup's details, but usually I use the "feel and eyeball" method, a lot quicker but then I cant give the customer the spec's. Any way the project wasted an hour and if I need it I've got it. So first stop is the "gonna use scrap bin", and what I got is what you see here.

It's funny because I also saw the Stewmac one and thought, "I could build one of those." Supercheap and the like do the longer rectangular style feeler gauges, I just have to find some time to actually do it now! Thanks for posting yours Taffy, all ideas into the pot
