p.s. two grooves so you can do two pieces of binding at one go. I tried first with 4 grooves, thinking I could do an entire set at once, but if there is any variation in the depth of the grooves, or the depth of the binding, it becames difficult to make sure that flat clamping cauls will evenly bridge all four grooves and ensure even gluing pressure. So..I reverted to two grooves...much simpler.

Heres a jig I have used over the years when gluing up. Shown in the jig is a back strip but the same deal for binding. The jig is about a meter long or so and has springs like the one shown, down its length
