I have just closed the box on my first TG method guitar and done the tests. I am wondering if
1 I am reading the right peak for the back?
2 Should I sand further the top or expect it to drop from 200 to 180 when neck and bridge are on?

I am going by 12-18 in bk 2 where it is expected that numbers will drop after bridge and neck are on. I hope I am reading it right but having sanded the top I am still needing a sizeable drop later...
Am I reading it right or any comments please before I proceed further would be welcome

What I do is tap and record the back. It should confirm if 230 is the right peak for T(1,1)3. The back tap willl be close to the T(1,1)3

If 180Hz is your target for T(1,1)2 then I'd start by making up your bridge and weighing it. This will give you a better idea of how much drop in T(1,1)2 to expect once the bridge is on. If it was me I probably wouldn't thin the periphery of the lower bout at this stage. I'd get the bridge on and then rely on side weights to trim the frequency down. It's easier bringing it down than bringing it up if its too low. Trevor's ballpark figure for T(1,1)2 drop per gram of bridge weight on a steel string is around 0.6Hz/gram.
