ANZAC Day wishes

Post by nnickusa » Thu Apr 25, 2013 12:35 pm

Tho I wasn't an ANZAC, I did serve in the US Air Force, and know what it is about. Spare a moment of thought for the poor bastards in harms way........My hat is off to them.... :cl
I wish I was half the man my dog thinks I am....

Cheers,
Nick

Too right Nick, regardless of anyone's views on war if you don't have defence against those whom make it for their own gain, you will have nothing. Make no mistake, we owe our freedom to those who stood and whom stand ready to fend off the war makers of this world.

Here's to the ANZAC's :gui

Like you Nick, I'm an import into un zud (albeit as a young sapling) but it still touches me deeply when I think of the young diggers, both Aussie and Kiwi that gave their lives unselfishly so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have today. Fortunately others share my thoughts as is apparent by the increasing numbers turning out for dawn parade, 10,000 alone turned out for the Auckland parade this morning.
One for all the diggers who've served :gui

Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.
