This was only released last week so it's possible (and advisable) to register email addresses for yourself and your business while not too many people have signed up. If you try to get a hotmail or gmail address you'll generally have to add some digits to the end of your name to get one that's not taken.
I got bobconnor(at)outlook(dot)com last week and some of my students have snavelled barackobama, juliagillard and tonyabbott with the hope of making a few bucks down the track.
Even if you don't need it at present you might as well grab you own name or business name while it's available.
