In Christchurch at the moment...my home town. As much as I love the place it's always had it's weird side.
At 1.30am last night I awoke to someone knocking on my window. I opened the curtains to the sight of a bloke standing playing with his wedding tackle. Dont know what I said but the bloke quickly sprinted off up the street. I would have gone after him but the police prefer you to stay inside in such circumstances so the dogs have a better chance of finding a scent. I called the cops and they eventually turned up and took a statement. Turned out they'd had a similar report from up the street earlier on in the evening.
I did have a horrible thought that it might have been Nick paying me a visit to check if I'd like to catch up for a beer but the fact it was 1.30 in the morning blew that theory.
I love Christchurch..but its still got a weird side.

Probably blames it on post quake shock, been a few idiots trying that excuse on for size. Would'nt have been me Martin, I'd already be at the pub with a pint in one hand & texting you with the other, no hands left for anything else!

Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.

I can't imagine the dogs would have had much trouble haha.

An update on this story. My sister got a call from the police and they want me to attend a line up and ID a suspect theyve got on 4 charges. Might be worth paying for the airfares over and back just to kick the prick in the nuts after the line up.
