What's the story with the OLF?

Is the new site up and running yet?

Still haven't received the email with the new password and new URL.

Has anybody?

Would they change the URL? I though all stayed the same but you need to log in again once the new software is in place. If that is the case, then no one has made a post since lock down so I would suggest all are still waiting.

Cheers

I haven't heard anything either, Paul. I have a feeling the road over to the new software was bumpier then expected...

No, I'm fine, no withdrawal symptoms over here :D  :) :( :o  :?

Lance said there would be a redirect, so I guess there's a new URL. A google search gives three different URLs for the OLF.

I think that the URL will not change.

When the database is successfully copied over to the new software we are all to receive an email to our email addy in our profiles with a temporary password that will permit us to log in. Once logged in we may change that temp password to what ever we wish.

But it has been over 24 hours now that we have been in the dark side of the moon so things may not be going smoothly - but I don't know this for sure. I would inquire but I don't want to burden Lance and Brock when we know that they have their hands full.

In a way it's nice to dry out for a while....... :D

It's up and running! It's a lot faster! I'm really impressed.

Lance and Brock said only the people they wanted back would be invited, the password thing was a filter for undesirables!

Er... Sorry guys!

Yea! I figured it was over!
DOOMED I tell you DOOMED!
Parties over!

RIP OLF!

Damn! It's true: the new OLF is extremely fast (or seems extremely fast because it was always so extremely slow), and they have not emailed me (a known troublemaker) a new password. So, they are eliminating the riffraff!  :? :!:

Dennis
p.s. Now, don't go cutting me off here too, just because you know I'm a troublemaker!

Billy, your new avatar is confusing me. Are you declaring to the world, well at least our forum, that you are a butt head? I don't get it.

Billy seriously I laughed my butt off when I saw that and it is one of your best ever!!!!!
I purified myself spiritually by meditations, fastings, much infusings and bathings in the mystical waters of Azusa [¹] .... and watching old episodes of "Wild Wild West" preparing for just this avatar! Glad you like it! Unfortunately I find your's derivative, lack luster, reactionary... thus pissing me off no end! :D

I had a good laugh at yours too Hesh Buddy! :cl :cl :cl :cl :cl

With the OLF down I'm wandering around like a little lost puppy! Yes! I've tried other forums, but they don't have that fresh, clean, OLF feeling!

I've been stinking up the ANZLF regularly but there's not much going on!

If you guys don't start posting I'm gonna have to start and you... don't.... want.... that!

Billy have you been taking your lithium as prescribed my friend????? :D

You seem a little hyper and perhaps vibrating on a higher frequency then you usually do. Just an observation and if I am mistaking this for joy and happiness on your part please tell me to go to H E double hockey sticks....

I think that Billy and I could serve as a good example for other groups who have conflict and cannot see fit to resolve their conflict in as mature and civilized a manner as we do.

For example if the Israelis and Palestinians would just get on a forum and maliciously depict each other with graphical content and avatars it would sure beat rockets and suicide bombers..... Just an observation.

But Billy I was thinking about how you told me that you are not circumsized and I wondered why this might be. And then it came to me - so you have a place to store your chewing gum in a sand storm - brilliant!!!!!
