All that is a bit weird, I am all for the protection of intellectual property, especially as I pretend to be a artist on the odd occasion but I feel it should only be protected when it is in fact your own intellectual property

Protection of Intellectual Property.

Hmmm. Well it is or was a great idea. Works very well for the current model of the greedy profit based monetary system that is now exposing itself as the rapist of our sovereign rights and the planets wealth. This system in now in its death throws and is gonna fight like hell to hang on until its last breath...such is the way of a dieing beast. Mother earth can no longer support the wanton destruction of its natural resources.

Change is inevitable. Resistance is futile.

The world wide web has taught us that ideas and information are free and should be shared by all for the good of all and not by a few for their own greedy little ends. As such the collective consciousness of this planet is moving into an egalitarian, resource based economy.

Speaking very personally and firmly believing in this new economic model, you will no longer find a copyright, registration or patent numbers or symbols on any of the paintings, builds, drawings of instruments or their plans of construction or any of the innovative ideas that have come through duh Padma . Feel free to use, copy, build and share as thou wilt. (acknowledgment of its origin is nice but not necessary)

Our individual sovereignty, life, breath and ideas comes from the creator, and as such I, me, duh Padma feels, thinks and believes the current economic model exemplifies the supreme form of fear that drives our egos to greed in claiming intellectual property rights.

The emerging change in our planets collective consciousness is gonna go through birthing pains. However the shared custodianship of earths resources is the future model and the cornerstone for the golden age of global peace that is dawning.

Here in endith duh Padmas rant on intellectual property.

Blessings

Hmmm, greed is the reason I would prefer my ideas to be protected and not free for the use of any Tom, Dick or Harry, especially if Harry is a large profit driven multi national corporation and he decides that one of my designs is a good one. He then takes my design and turns it into a way to make more profit for himself adding to his large pile of gold that he keeps in the back room where he sits of a evening and counts it over and over. So I guess I feel the same as you in a way Padma in that I would be happy for Tom or Dick to use my designs in their shed for their own enjoyment but Harry can bite me or share some of his gold.

For the most part I'm a big fan of the creative common license. Take my ideas, as there are no new ones anymore. Just ones that have been borrowed from others and improved upon, as were my ideas, sometimes with varying success.

It's nice to have been given credit for the inspiration, and I do so when I can recall where the original idea came from, but many times its a process of clobbing various ideas together to arrive at my own "original" idea.

And when it comes down to it, a patent is only as good as your lawyer and how deep your pockets are in an attempt to protect it. If it's some multi national that is hell bent on taking your idea to market, you will be made bankrupt before the dust settles.
