This thing is a piece of cr*p. Downloaded map updates via my Mac and cant get the unit to recognise the updated maps. The bldi map loading software tells me the maps are loaded. Ditto for firmware upgrade. Nothing seems to work in the software updating department.

Been doing alot of reading in the forums and it appears this and other issues are common with this unit.

This unit going on the new pushy Martin? Forget it. Just go straight through McLearen Vale, on to Willinunga, turn left at the Library and past the pubs...I know that's a hard one but then go straight up the hill. If you make it to the top then turn left If not the medics won't be that far away. :D

I've got Garmin 500 GPS on the bike but it doesn't give me grief like the $500 piece of rubbish sitting in the car.

I use SUN brand GPS for directions...In the west, if its before midday and I'm heading towards it, I'm heading away from the coast. If its after midday and I'm heading towards it, I'm heading toward the coast. If its after sunset, I've already headed for the pub and I'm probably not suppose to be driv'in. :)

Cheers

Kim
