FOR LILLIAN

Post by Ron Wisdom » Sun Nov 07, 2010 4:42 am

OK, Lillian, I finally got around to taking some photos of the music boxes I made for my granddaughters. The pics are pretty bad.

The first one is walnut and quilted maple, though the figure isn't done justice by the photos.
The second box is bubinga and the small cylindrical box goes with the bubinga box. I turned it on the lathe.

Umm, have to agree with you on the photo quality, but those are some stunning boxes you made. They will treasure them. Who knows, your great, great, great granddaughter might think that you were one cool grandpa, and she would be right.

Thanks, guys. I tried to use the close up setting on the camera and evidently I needed a tripod.
They looked better in the smaller format I was viewing but they are way bad here.

 No worries Ron. You take pictures like I do. I can't show anyone pictures of my new niece because they are so blurry. I could say she wouldn't stay still, but she's always asleep when I drop by.
