AER Compact Mobile on Ebay

Post by Kim » Mon Feb 23, 2009 10:33 pm

I have one of these and love it, standard retail around $2400.00 so this could be a good pick up.

Martin,

As soon as the first 'bid' is placed, an 'auction' becomes active. Therefore the BIN option gets automatically removed. Lesson here is should you be perusing Ebay and happen to stubble across a bargain with a good BIN price, just jump in and buy it straight away.

Some people seem to think that if they place a low bid they may get the item even cheaper, as if no one else will find this hidden bargain before the auction ends. If these people were to first consider the number of hits at Ebay per day they would soon realise the odds of that actually happening are very very slim indeed and they would probably do far better to save their share of life's successful short odd gambles for the race track.

The reality is as the days progress, a well priced item will go well over the BIN price as we have seen happen in this instance. Even if the item does not move at first, if it really is a good deal, it is almost certain to be sniped in the last few seconds.

Cheers
