An Auckland teenager is being extracted from a vending machine after he allegedly tried to steal a can of Coca-Cola.
Firefighters are on the scene where the 15-year-old's entire arm is stuck up the vending machine at the Genesis Training Centre, which is on the same site as the Baptist Church of New Zealand on Glendale Road in Glen Eden.
Specialist tools are being used to free him.
"He's still stuck, his whole arm is up the Coke vending machine and firefighters are working on extracating him," fire service communication shift inspector Jaron Phillips says.
"We've been on the scene for about 15 minutes, and he should be freed shortly."
