I was listening to this story on the radio. From what I could gather while driving in the car and then having to bail mid story to go into work, the fertiliser was bought buy a co-op of farmers from the on-line trading site Albia? These guys paid 300k and the bags shipped full of nothing but dirt...It crossed my mind as I walked across the car park that if I owned a bloody big fertiliser factory in AU and got wind that my monopoly was under serious threat from a bunch of recalcitrant new age net savvy farmers who had the audacity to try an cut me out of the picture by importing product themselves from China, how it would serve them right and me well if they were to be set-up to take a fall so bloody hard, that it shook all the bad apples from the tree and left clear notice in my market that the prospective savings just ain't worth the risk so we better stick with Kimbo...but then I can be a tad cynical at times...
