Things I hate

Post by kiwigeo » Sun Nov 28, 2010 9:59 am

Ya wanna know one thing I really hate?

It's people who join luthiers forums, put up a few luthiery related posts to make everyone think they're luthiers with a genuine interest in being part of a thriving online community dedicated to helping each other out...and then the spam posts start. You then realise that they've joined the forum to flog their business in direct contravention of the terms and conditions agreed to when they join the forum. I mean what a low underhand way to run a business......no ethics or morals at all.

Whats even worse is when you discover they've joined up on other luthiers forums and you find the exact same posts appearing on same.

Is now a bad time to offer my special range of athletic "supplements". Personally guaranteed to make almost all your muscles bigger. Here's a picture of my latest satisfied customer.

Bit different than the usual spam I get which promises only to enlarge a limited range of 'muscle' It's funny because I've done some anatomy classes & I never heard of a muscle that's called 'love' most have Latin names

I hate young people (17-20) who get in a lift & only go one or two floors  , unless they have legs missing I usually point out to them about the stairs, but I really get my nighty bunched when they ride down one or two floors! Martin knows of which lifts I speak.
Next are able bodied who park in disabled car park spaces then look at you like you're a moron when you point out that fact to them.

Do let the good folks at The Luthier Community know if you see one of these types showing up...

...we just had a guy's first and second post show up trying to sell EI Rosewood direct from (can't remember - India or Indonesia I think.) Didn't even get dinner and a movie first!

Dennis

What's even worse is when you finish your 10 minute tirade and then the person pulls out their parking permit and pops it on the dashboard and then climbs out of the car carrying a walking stick.

Yes I agree Martin, even worse is when you take measures to uncover their deception by kicking away the walking stick and pulling off the gray wig only to find it has been bonded with impossibly good glue..So good it takes clumps of scalp with it when it finally gives. The plot is always revealed however when the allegedly frail con artist up and makes their retreat with all the zeal of a 20 year old.

Cheers

the END!

Post by the Padma on Sun Nov 28, 2010 11:10 am

The End.

Lets see now...Besides the Fire and brimstone,
some say the Rapture gonna get the good Christians.
Then the evil aliens are coming to take some of us away.
Supposedly some of us are gonna ascend into the pearly white gates,
while a few Tibetan Buddhist are gonna take the Rainbow Body Express off the planet into Nirvana.

Chemical induced germ warfare, aids and devitalized food gonna grab there fair share.

Lets see what else we got coming to us besides
plagues and pogroms, famine, starvation, genocide and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Umm oh ya there be the pole shift and the possibility of the earth turning inside out and
getting swallowed up and sucked into the microscopic black hole at its center.

Of course, Nibiru, Planet X and the host of asteroids are coming to lay waste to the planet.
Then there is being cooked in a solar oven when the sun over heats, fries us all and
the continents sink to hide the evidence.

Oh ya, and finally nuclear war, and if the bomb don't ruin your whole day,
there is the nuclear winter from the fall out,
which is gonna be nasty for them that has allergies.

Hope I didn't leave anything out.

More than 6 Billion human beings are scheduled to die in order to make way for the
Aquarian Golden Age of Peace, Love and Understanding,
you know ~ sun shine and lolly pops and rainbows and everything.
