Worried

Post by kiwigeo » Mon May 18, 2009 10:56 am

Okay as you know the boss is heading off to japan for a few weeks. I took a look at her itinerary and couldnt help noticing the name of one of the hotels shes booked herself into......its called the "Root In Hotel". Hopefully its just a harmless bit of Japlish. :?

:D I'm sure it's a fine place for a beautiful, unaccompanied woman to stay. Just think about the fun you'll have in the shop, build something nice, and she'll be back home before you know it. Course, I've never been to Japan, but I'm sure it's a harmless name.

  Prime piece of Japlish if you ask me. Probably in Japanese it's something graceful like "The place where the silken beginings of the divine maples meet earth"
Except they flattened the 200 year old Japanes maples to put a hotel up
"Jesus Loves You."
Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.

Its right next door to Sapporo Railway Station....a treeless mass of grey buildings and seething masses of people last time I was there.

Um actually I went IN to the place drunk. Was with a bunch of japanese Geologists and wed just been out for a boozey lunch. After leaving the brewery we spent 2 hours trying to find where wed parked the car (driver not drinking of course).

Day One and what have I achieved? Biked down to my Pilates class in the morning.....tied myself in knots with most of the Pilates exercises. Had coffee with Zany and Nancy.....two delightful Asian friends of my wife. Got the seal coats on the top of the classical. Started on the Lute making DVD....gonna take me 6 months just to make the body mold.

Oh yeah the day started with a phonecall from the CBA bank inquiring about abnormal activity on the bosses credit card. Dont know why the hell they called me.....when I asked them for details they said they couldnt tell me necause I wasnt the card holder (then why the f*** did you call me then). Anyway I suspect because the boss hasnt used the card for the last 6 months her purchase at duty free yesterday must have aroused suspicion. Mmmmm maybe shes bought me something really nice!!!

Tomorrows plans......buy MDF for the lute mold. Buy some masonite to sticker the tonne of wood thats sitting on the bench. The mountain bike has cobwebs on it so might go for a burn down the hill.....and then back up the hill.
