Here is a guitar I have been working on for a bit. It is my first guitar after two eye surgeries to get decent vision in one of my eyes. I took off building for nearly a year due to poor vision. One of the joy of turning 70. Now my vision is pretty good and I am again enjoying my time in the shop. Here is the guitar I just strung up. It has great tone. Once I tune the back down a bit I will be at 95 Hz Sound hole, 180 Hz top with the back some where between 226 and 240 Hz. Currently the top is 183 Hz and the back is 250 Hz. I will watch the top frequency as I tune down the back. I suspect when I am at 204 Hz back I will be at 180 Hz top.
I just have a spec setup (no on guitar adjustments.) I used Greg Holmberg spreadsheet to calculate the nut and saddle intonation with D'addario string data. This guitar has a 24.9 scale. The numbers looked good based on the long scales guitars I've made. I will wait a week for the guitar to settle in and do all of the fine setup. At that time I can see how the intonation turned out.
