Not a new OM guitar, but new flat top Octave Mandolin. This is a completely new model for me, with asymmetric points and 23 inch scale length. In this case I made the body a bit wider and thinner, and sized it to fit into a standard banjo case. I usually avoid points because they are just decoration and a lot of extra work, but in this case it was a special order and the customer wanted the points. Any way, I think it turned out rather well, looks quite nice, and the sound is pretty special. Sounds far better than what I was expecting, quite a stunning instrument. Woods are King Billy Pine top, Blackwood back and sides, Queensland Walnut neck, and Indian Rosewood bindings. Sorry, no sound clips, it is already off to the new owner.
