An unusual order. A 5 string baritone uke in the shape of a Selmer with a d hole. Also unusual is the 3 piece top which is wrc/spruce/wrc. Curly jarrah back and sides, Tasmanian oak neck and eirw bridge and Tasmanian black wood bindings. It was a nice little project to do which I slotted in between guitars. Wayne

Very original. I do love the look of that jarrah. What was the reason for the three piece top? Customer couldn't decide between the two options? It makes for a unique GT stripe effect.

Thanks Mark. He wanted the top like that for it’s tone he reckons it’ll give a different response than spruce or wrc. I built him am OM half wrc and half spruce and he absolutely loves it and I was a bit sceptical but it does sound really nice. Now he’s talking about an archtop with a 3 piece top. He’s a good client I’ve built him 7 guitars 2 ukes 3 amp cabinets and a lot of other stuff so I try to do what he wants. Wayne
