Medium Body Falcate

Post by AKEric » Fri Sep 04, 2020 1:21 pm

Hello. My name is Eric. Never posted here, but have gotten great advice from Trevor and company in "The Book" section.

This is my 4th guitar, and second using Trevor and Gerard's process.

Specifics:
OM sized steel string.
12 fret to the body with cut-a-way.
Indian Rosewood back and sides.
Sitka with bear-claw top.
Curly soft maple binding.
Spalted maple rosette & head stock veneer.

Thanks for looking.

Some lovely work, particularly the tail inlay. Something to aim for!

That is a handsome looking guitar Eric. Endgraft is fantastic, but those fretboard inlay are crazy  Really great

Wow, that is a beautiful guitar! The bearclaw figure in the spruce is almost as lively as the curl in the maple, so they complement each other perfectly. As others have said, the inlays are very nicely done. I particularly like the headstock shape. Just a top notch job overall.

Thank you so much. Very kind comments from you all. It's funny how once you get it in your blood, it becomes a part of you. Looking forward to my next one.
