First time using Torrified Spruce. Was lucky enough to get 6 ukulele soundboards all with Bear Claw figure. Interesting to work with. Has a distinct caramel odour to it. No issues glueing, sanding or finishing.

The back and sides are Ambrosia Maple with Australian Blackwood bindings. The rosette made up of little offcuts from all those offcuts that are just too nice to toss out and will be handy one day.

Tuners are Gotoh Stealth with a K&K Aloha Twin pickup installed. Strung with Pepep Romero strings for A-a tuning.

The client emailed me this morning with this comment.

"Wow Allen! It Is AMAZING!!!!
Can’t believe I could get this tone and volume out of such a small body! Looks stunning, love the colour combos and the rosette looks so good. It might take me awhile to get use to the short scale length but it’s really comfortable to play. I can’t put it down!"
