Thought I'd show off another one of many recent student build completions.
A Falcate braced OM made by Daniel in 26x 4hour classes. Dan hadn't done any prior woodworking before coming along to the school and he doesn't play the guitar, he made this instrument as a surprise gift for his younger brother.

Spruce soundboard
Ebony back and sides, and fretboard
Paua Shell rosette
Indian Rosewood bridge
Maple bindings
Schaller tuners
LR Baggs pickup
Satin Nitro Lacquer finish
The internal labels were made by Dan's young children

This guitar is a 95, 179, 238hz instrument for those following Trevor's methods. :D

Not only is it super rewarding for Daniel (and all the students), I'm constantly amazed at the quality of guitars I can get non woodworkers and first time makers to produce. The smile on my face is equal to that on the student's face with each and every completion.

Thanks guys,
Yes 26 classes, from raw timber to a finished and setup product. This is just below my average for SS student builds in my workshop which is currently at 27.9.
About 90% of these are cutaways (12fret joins), all are falcate.
The average for nylon stringed instruments is much lower.
