Fresh off the bench Blackwood/spruce classical (PIC HEAVY)

Recently completed Zenith model Classical for 'stock'.
Soundboard: Spruce
B&S: Tasmanian Blackwood
Neck: Australian Cedar
FB: Ebony
Bridge: Brazilian Rosewood
Rosette: Tassie blackwood
Tuners: Schaller Grandtune
Finish: Thin Semi gloss nitro
Has my typical sound - huge and very responsive.

Nice crisp work Steve. The blackwood is indeed lovely.
I particularly like your heel shape. That is the style that I used to aim for but unfortunately since I now always do cutaways I'm stuck with a rather formless round shape. But I love the access to the upper frets.
What bracing are you using? And have you decided on a particular layout?

Thanks for the kind words Dave.
The inspiration for my bracing setup was based on a 1937 Hauser plan, but i've modified the positioning and made it asymmetrical with a slanted lower transverse. It's since ended up more like a 7 fan Fleta design then a hauser - but yet still very different.
Here's an early iteration of it (about 45 guitars ago), it has changed slightly since this photo.

Nice guitar, what about back bracing? I find that just as important to the sound as the top, they have to speak with each other. I'd probably use 4 braces instead of 3 on blackwood from the sets I've got, but haven't used that timber yet.

I do 3 transverse back braces and 4 star braces as per Trevor Gore. All my classicals are done this way.
For flamencos i leave the star braces out and space the trans braces equally.
I did do one non live back classical with 4 trans braces which turned out great. It was indian rosewood and was done this way as the customer requested a non live back.
