i recently purchased some tops from kiwigeo (all very nice timber) and he suggested adding some pictures of what I am doing so here goes. First was making a space to build a workshop so turned the garage into workshop and place to store the toys

Then made a bench, got some tools and a couple of machines and importantly TIMBER

i then spent a good portion of my life making jigs and stuff

i decided on 2 sizes 000 and 0 size, i already have a 00 (Gilet) and a dreadnought and decide on making 4 guitars, a 12 fret and 14 fret of each size though one of the 12s is now a 13 fret jobby.

I notice one "The Books" in one of those pics......another recruit for the Gore Army??

I have met gerard a few times and did the gore course at Toronto with Strato a couple of years back, these tops were not thicknessed using that method as i had already braced them by then, I have a gilet 00 flamed maple, had some work done to lower the action a while back, it is kerfed lining non live back etc and have not heard a nicer guitar (I have played a few, as has my sons and his pro mates) all agree. Trevor's course is very interesting and i have used it to set target thicknesses on some tops i have joined and are waiting to be made into guitars.

Not too much yakking going on at your workshop
You must have been a Luthier in a previous life.
Love your jigs, workshop and the quality work you have turned out.
