Jazzmaster done a bit differently

One for the electric guys.
This will be the third guitar I have built for Ben, I guess because I get him and what he's after, so when he asked me to build him a Jazzmaster minus the BS, the issues and with a unique aesthetic, this is what I came up with.
I won't bore you guys with the details , more just a bit of Guitar Porn for a rainy long weekend.

That looks great Paul.
I am normally an acoustic player and builder but lately I have developed a yearning for a Jazzmaster as an electric toy. Now you make me think I should have a go at building one. I see that you went with the Mastery bridge and floating tremelo - which I have read are the definite choice for JM and similar sytles. Are you happy with them? And please tell about your choice for the pickups.

Hi Mark,
Yes the Mastery Stuff is the Go for sure , probably the only tremolo I have seen that actually consistently stay in tune , and the bridge is a ripper also.
The Pickups are Seymour Duncan Antiquity 2's.
The Cap, Paper oil type is a Soviet NOS from South coast Customs and it has a Treble bleed on the volume pot, sound bloody awesome.
And also has extensive shielding and earthing to keep the single coils quiet.
