Hi Allen,
That looks incredible!... All your work looks fantasic, but I reckon this one is extra drool-worthy! The curly maple looks magnificent! And the ringed gidgee binding (and rosette with added sapwood) is superb icing on the cake!
Is that spanish cedar for the neck? And boxwood bridge pins - or maybe gidgee sapwood?
Thanks,
GregL.

It's a Spanish Cedar neck, and yes the bridge pins are Box Wood.

Hi Allen.
Another beauty. Well done.
Does The Maple Have a bright sound. I'm assuming It wouldn't be as warm as say a Blackwood body.

Do me a favour please Allen, build something rubbish so I can leave a negative comment as I am starting to sound like a stuck record on you Gallery threads.

Depends a lot on the strings Ross. I wouldn't say this is overly bright, though this strings are brighter than say Worth Browns. It actually has quite a rich complex sound for something that has only been strung up for a few days.
This one is a commission and I built another for stock with more simple trim than this one, but from the same boards. Sounds pretty much exactly the same. I've got another commission using the same boards but with a Carpathian top as that fellow wants something that really kicks. We'll see how they compare.
