Hi all,
Thought I would post my latest build, a concert ukulele.
I attended a Tim S. builders course in January this year and this is No. 5 and halfway through No.6 and just started No.7. I reckon this gets to be an obsession, a bit like the WAS problem.
Back and sides - Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle
Top - Huon Pine (also rear insert).
Neck - Blackwood with Antarctic Beech laminate.
Headplate, fretboard and bridge - Ringed Gidgee
Tuners - Gotoh SG 381 Mini Tuners in Black Chrome
Strings - Aquila
Headplate logo produced by Labels Extreme
This my first post with pictures and I notice they came out backwards.
Cheers
Alan

What a beauty! You craftsmanship obviously does justice to he very nice TIMber you used.

Oh, don't think of it as a problem, building instruments is just the natural way of simultaneously fighting and fueling WAS.chappy wrote: this is No. 5 and halfway through No.6 and just started No.7. I reckon this gets to be an obsession, a bit like the WAS problem.
