What Ive Been Up To

Apart from another acoustic guitar build, this has been keeping me busy.

I had a Strat style guitar that I carved out of one block of Australian red Mahogany Turned out to be a great guitar but HEAVY way to heavy to play all night with out doing in the back :(

So I went crazy with the router and chambered it, then capped top and back with some nice silky oak, a little more adornment, and now a lot lighter and I think better looking Guitar.

That's right Steve You have a good memory :)

I saw the Mason Rack Band the other night and I believe your Nephew was the Bass Guitarist, very talented lad :)

Love a bit of Silky. Nice work.

Mason Rack Band is pretty fun, too. They play pretty regularly at Bruns Pub....

Hi Tod
Yes, Jamie is the Bass player with the Mason Rack band. Talented kid - I wish his uncle had half his talent.
I will be up your way hopefully in a month or so. Hope we can catch up again.
Regards
Steve
