Nice colour it certainly gives it that old burnt barrel look, what timbers did you use for the guitar?
(by the way, I'm not sure I like the "starburst" effect you added to the photo's highlights, it distracts from seeing the detail)

lol cheers Nick the starbursts are from my daughters camera setting on sparkle mode haha, the back & sides are curly maple believe it or not... I f you are thinking what a strange thing to do then I have to agree with you 100% lol... :?

I forgot to add that this guitar was made to experiment with a new bracing pattern, its made up with all the scrap wood I had lying around, nothing matched at all bubinga back strip and end graft, zebrano rosette, old mahogany bindings from an old chest of drawers found at the local tip, about £65.00 to build not including the tin ware...

Hi Rob,
I love the look of the burst. Im not mormally a fan of such things on acoustics, preferring the natural look of the wood under a clear finisih. But yours looks superb :)

Adam

p.s. Where is this tip of which you speak, our local one in Alloa never seems to have anything not made from chipboard in it!
