Hi All,
Just finished this one today, its been well over twelve months since it was started.
I still have to do the intonation and final setup.
The Back and sides are experimental Timber, can anyone identify it?
Soundboard - Bear Claw Sitka Spruce from Alaska Specialty Woods
Headstock, Fret Board, Bindings, Bridge and End graft - Ringed Gidgee from Loggerheads.
Neck - Curly Maple,
Tuners - Gotoh Mini 510
Having some trouble uploading the photos, can someone help?

Chuckie
What sort of issues are u having? Maybe the photos are too large - there is a size limit. If they are too large you should get an error which tells you the maximum size.
Cheers

I second that, great looking guitar (and this coming from a paua/abalone-a-phobe!) and the finish looks beautiful, I detect a slight Paul Reed Smith influence in it

. What are the Back & Sides made from Chuck?
Interesting bridge too.

Hi All,
Yes its Albizia, the tree came from the Rockhampton Race Course.
I'm happy with the sound of it, although for some reason I take a while to like the sound of any new Guitar. Must be just what I have grown accustomed to.
Thanks for the kind remarks
Cheers
Graham

Jeffrey (JJ model) has done a bit with what he calls "Monkeypod"
Here is a pic and
Here is a Youtube of some of his work with it and I think his might be A. saman.

Beautiful guitar.

Amazing workmanship.
*(Just as a constructive observation) I'd probably knock the top off that nut and round it down a bit. Playing an A#9 chord at first fret would be difficult with such a high nut.
Great job though.

Hi Dekka,
Point taken, I have already done the nut as part of my final set-up.
Thanks for the comment

Dang, I was going to guess the back/sides were monkey pod or myrtle. I'm in love with the shaping of the bridge. Awesome.
