Hi,

I finished this guitar during the week, The customer wanted a slightly different take on my usual builds.
I gotta say I'm pretty happy with the outcome.
Specs are Kauri top, Heart Rimu back and sides, Puriri fretboard & bridge, Kauri neck, paua inlays, Kowhaiwhai soundport and soundhole, brass fretwire, wilkinson tuners,

Beautiful work again Christian. Would love to see how you do those mitered joints, they really give your guitars a natural "earthy" look.

Oh man, that Koru soundhole is something else Christian! I REALLY like that, was that an evolution of yours or one of the customer's inputs? Beautifully executed as is the whole guitar, as per normal. I'm never dissappointed with your guitars.

@ Matt the mitred body is reasonably straight forward, you have to make exact templates of your top/back and sides.
rout the mitre on each component before bracing and bending. When ready you literally glue and tape the whole guitar together.

@ Nick, the client showed me the initial design, Which I think he found online I simply adapted it to work as a soundhole. I backed the top with another layer of Kauri and had the whole thing laser cut by my chaps in Chch.
