Very nice instruments here. The QLD Maple back is a killer. It even matches (sort of) the rear head plate.

I also like the first photo (the tree on which instruments grow). Great colours!

Thanks Gaz. I picked up a slab off a guy and this nice figured area was in the bottom corner. Jamie loves it. I found a fallen wattle tree and thought i`d give it a try as it belongs to the Acacia family(as does blackwood). Nice to work with and bends easy. They seem to sound good. I`v also built a stave snare drum. timber work is finished just have to machine the lugs and add hardware.
