#2 Completed

I actually finished this guitar back in December last year, but did'nt like the sound, too much treble
. It sounded exactly like my 1st build, good but not great.
Then the light turned on, sudden brain spasm
, to begin to get a better sounding instrument I would have to learn the art of voicing the various components, etc.
Big learning curve, OFF came the back, re-sculpted the soundboard bracing also the backboard bracing, then the whole thing started to come alive
.
Lets just say I am extremely happy with the result, great sustain/tone and all the notes just seem to ring out.
I think the brother-in-law will also be happy, a gift to him for allowing us to crash at his place when on holiday in Brisbane.
Second completion of this guitar, Wednesday evening.
A standard Cut-away dreadnought, EIR b/s, bearclaw sitka spruce top , mahogany neck, EIR fretboard, bridge, Durobond guitar lacquer finish.
Heres some pics. . .
