The sound is very different to a flattop
I have not played anyone elses build so I don't know but this is bright a bit scooped and really punchy and loud
It's only on 10-45 strings too

Nice job Jeff, yeah they certainly have a very different sound to a conventional flattop. More cut & bite & the true gypsy jazz guitarists use picks that are between 4-5mm thick and play more toward the bridge so the attack is something to behold!
One of my favourites effortlessly demonstrates it best.

Not this one, it is ladder braced across the top. Standard Selmer
I don't think a falcate arrancement would work with the downforce from the bridge/tailpiece setup as opposed to the rotational force from a fixed bridge
