Great job the graphics look fantastic.
Nice to see a custom built for a lefty being one myself.

It might look like a heap of symbology just thrown together, but it's actually a themed tribute guitar.

The guy who commissioned this build had his father in mind, a WWII veteran. The only Australian still alive from the only combat jump Aust did in WWII with thousands of Americans.

So the truss rod cover features his regiments wings, the rear cavity cover is a war medal he was awarded (Master parachutist combat jump), the number on the front is his VX number. So it's all tied together by that common theme.

:cl :cl :cl Nice work Steve, the airbrush work is fantastic, those rivets look very three dimensional. Great story behind the guitar too, means more to the customer when there's a link there. The wings, are they laser etched ? It's one smart axe.

The wings on the back is the war medal he recieved. It was laser etched as you suspected. Only cost $20.00 so I can see a bit more laser etching in my future!
