This one's is my first Uke and made for the wife of a friend. Was actually finished before Easter and finally got around to taking some pics before it disappears. I must say it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience!!

I must also thank Allen for his information and advice about specifications and the construction process (and for his spec template)

Fret Board - 12" radius
Body - Blackwood
Soundboard - Blackwood
Neck - Spanish Cedar
Fret Board, Bridge, Head Stock veneers - Ebony
Finish - Hand-rubbed Oil
Machine Heads - Grover Sta-Tites
Strings - D'Addario

Great build there Mike. Nice Blackwood too! I like to build the odd Uke myself and I have planned a Tenor to match my concert. One day!!

Very neat looking ukulele, and beautiful blackwood too!

You can see why Blackwood is my favourite timber for it's appearance. With the black contrasts & oiled finish this ones a stunner Mike, your mates wife will be very happy with it I'd say. If she's not.......send it over to me
