Hey all,

Been awhile since I was here, I do on occasion check out the forum to see what everyone's up to. In the meantime haven't stopped building - all my gear and build pics are over at http://www.facebook.com/jguitars. Check it out some time!

Cheers,
Jeremy

Yo Jeremy

Interesting looking tele you have there! We can never have too many Teles
Whats the philosophy behind that build?

Cheers
Richard

What's my philosophy? Like most of my projects, I take a typical design and tweak it to what I think would make it better (of course, this is a matter of personal preference, and highly subjective to each guitar I build). For example - the telecaster build breaks down like this:

-Typical Telecaster dimensions (body is slightly thinner - 3.8cm thick)
-One piece neck though instead of bolt on neck
-Tasmanian Ash wood/Massaranduba fretboard dyed black to emulate ebony
-H/H configuration, Seymour Duncan P-Rails in Neck/Bridge, with 1 volume, 1 tone, 3 ways pickup selector, and 2 mini-switches to split individual pickup function between p90/single coil/humbucker configuration
All black hardware, black pickguard
12" fretboard radius
Tapered 'C' neck, a bit thicker than standard tele necks

Hope this answers your question?

Cheers,
Jeremy
