G'day to you all,

Here is a weissenborn copy just finished built for a great mate of mine who lives in Lismore. He is a fine singer, songwriter and he likes to experiment with different tunings on his acoustic guitar so we thought a weissenborn copy would be a great instrument to further experiment his music.

This is again a simple Style 1 Weissenborn copy with no body bindings and a three ring rosette. A Fishman soundhole pickup has been fitted and sounds good.

I have recorded the guitar and my mate will too! These recordings will be posted at a later date for you all to have a listen.

Top Back and sides: Tasmanian Blackwood for Barry Kerr.

Fingerboard, bridge, endgraft and headplate: East Indian Rosewood from Shane at High Mountain Tonewoods

Tunes: Vintage for Stew Mac.

Finish is shellac french polished.

Here are a few pictures and thanks for looking.
