Silky Oak Soprano

This has been the subject of a protracted build on the wood forum.
Based on dimensions for the Martin Soprano, but working without plans, but to photos and outlines of one by Jim Williams I saw locally.
Soundboard is from a piece of perfectly quartered WRC I found in the local hardware.
Back and sides are some Northern Silky Oak I scavenged from my recent kitchen rebuild.
Neck is a piece of (I think) Spanish Cedar I picked up somewhere. Headstock veneer is Indian RW, while the rosette and end graft are cut from a Coolibah burl I had left over from some turning.
Bindings are from a 40 year old stash of Imbuia.
Fretboard and bridge are Solomon Island Queen Ebony, with bone nut, saddle .
Tuners are basic friction Gotoh's from ALS.
Strings are low G Aquila.
Finish is french polished blonde shellac. As there are some blemishes on the soundboard to fix up, I haven't tidied up the strings yet.
Ulcers are purely mine.
As a musical ignoramus, don't ask me about the tone, but it passed the scrutiny of my son and daughter, who are musicians.
'nuff said.
