Here is a link to a sound file I recorded last night on my latest Blackwood, Weissenborn, Style 1 copy guitar build!
The mp3 is my version of the old tune, Paris Texas released by Ry Cooder some years ago. I have used fingers only in this tune. The recording is live, no effects using a Zoom MRS4 recorder, a dbx pre-amp and a NT3 Rode microphone.

Thanks to Allen for hosting the mp3 for me.
The guitar is all Blackwood, indian rosewood appointments.
Here are a few pictures:

Nice work Alan. I watched the movie Paris Texas when it first came out and found following the soundtrack easier than following the plot of the movie. Cooder at his best.

Classic look, great sound and really well played. The zoom/rode combo worked very well.

Thanks for posting Alan, very cool indeed. 8)

Yep. Lovely sounding instrument Alan. Enjoyed your playing immensely.
I think I'd better start practising if you want to get any demos of my weissy. Never really played slide much before. :D
