I again place this theme, as my last theme has been erased in the destroyed forum.
I will add some new pics...

It is my last guitar - Russian romantic guitar

Specs:

BACK & SIDE - Indonesian Macassar Ebony (from Dana)
Soundboard - Curly Redwood, Neck - Genuine Mahog. Bloodwood Binding (from Bob)

For Russian seven-stringed guitar the traditional wood is the Maple and the Sitka spruce.
But my practice is search for the best, to find an interesting sound. I think, that I could make it...

In theme Bolt-on Acoustic Guitar Neck vs Dovetailed Neck?

I asked a question about neck, It was important for this guitar.

Therefore once again thanks for Rick Turner, Allen, Nick O, Kim and all!
And also Hesh, Filippo from OLF! :D

I'm blown away by how nice that is. And that fret work looks superb.

What is a Russian 7 string guitar tuned too?

Gorgeous Sergy. Thanks for re-posting.

Are you bending the sides by hand or in a Fox bender? the waist is very tight.

Stunning indeed - and superb :cl
Traditionally they are tuned DGBdgbd'. The alternative so-called Gypsy tuning, is DGBgdcd.
Here they are tuned open D as per DF#ADF#AD, or open E, G or A based on the same intervals being a version of Vestapol tuning.

That rosette is amazing. If I didn't know better I'd swear it was real tapestry.

Awesome work.

Yes, the waist is very tight, but I bent by hands .
I had serious fears, but I was very, very careful.
